hall lets As a Church of Scotland parish church, The Mount Kirk’s mission is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone living within the parish. As part of that mission we wish to open up our building for use by the local community. If you run a local community group or you are planning an event and would be interested in enquiring about using the church building, we hope you will find the relevant information you will need here. Information about our various halls can be found below:- Large Hall
The large hall has wooden flooring, a stage area, a sound system with two radio microphones and CD player. The room is equipped with stackable chairs and folding tables. It can accommodate about 60-80 seated. Well equipped kitchen adjacent to hall, and disabled toilet facility nearby. £15/hour let rate.
Small Hall
Carpeted room with stackable chairs and folding tables. Can accommodate about 20 seated. £10/hour let rate.
Church Sanctuary
Seating for up to 300 and large stage area at front. The church is equipped with 3 radio microphones, 1 fixed mike and P.A. system. Ideal for concerts and large gatherings. Letting rate on application.
Other Facilities Insurance Please note that organisations which are not under the supervision of The Mount Kirk wishing to use the facilities, would need to provide proof of their own insurance before being able to use the premises. For most activities insurance premiums will be minimal. Please Note The Mount Kirk reserves the right to decline applications that may be incompatible with the Christian ethos and values of the church.
