The morning worship normally starts at 11am, although if you have children going into Sunday School, you can drop them off at their various groups beforehand in the church hall. The service begins with a hymn/song and then the minister will give a talk to the children followed by a children’s hymn. At this point the children leave to go to Sunday School and we also have a creche for under 3s. The rest of the service includes hymns, prayers and a sermon. There is also an opportunity for people to give towards the ministry of the church locally and worldwide in response to God’s grace given to us through Jesus, although there is no compulsion upon anyone to give if they choose not to. Some Sundays we have tea and coffee in the hall after the service to which everyone is invited if they are able to stay on.
At the moment on the last Sunday of the month we have an informal evening service with our praise band and sing a number of hymns and song written more recently. Sometimes this service will combine with informal communion.
