We are a Christian church in the Church of Scotland, a Reformed church with it’s roots in the Protestant reformation and going further back to the days of St Columba and St Ninian and the early Celtic missionaries who first brought Christianity to Scotland.
We hold the Bible to be the word of God and the highest authority within the church, which instructs us in what we believe and how we live as followers of Jesus Christ.
We hold to the Nicene creed which defines the basic doctrines of the Christian faith such as the trinity, the deity of Christ, the virgin birth, the resurrection etc.
We hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith which defines the Christian faith within a Reformed understanding of the gospel and the church.
Our minister is committed to an evangelical understanding of the gospel, the church and our mission to the world.
